Midtown has reopened! We’re currently serving dinner from 4pm-8pm Tuesday through Thursday, and 4pm-8:30pm on Friday. Please expect wait times for seating and food during peak hours. We want to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy Midtown, and are continually working to streamline our service.
Midtown dishes are also available for takeout! Please take a moment to check our menu before ordering, as our options and dishes have changed significantly! Availability and pricing of items is subject to change.
Looking for beers to-go? We also now offer a selection of craft beers, ciders, and more in cans and bottles to go, as well as growler fills of our draft options. Enjoy one in the taproom, or take them home! Cans and bottles ‘to-go’ are 20% off, plus we offer a mix and match deal: Grab a six pack to-go and enjoy 40% off!
The China Lounge is also open from 4pm-10pm Tuesday through Friday, with a limited late night menu from 8pm-10PM.
Midtown Public House
Midtown Public House opened in February 2017. It replaced the China First restaurant, a staple landmark for many locals. Still owned by the same family, Midtown Pub is now run by the next generation and has been revamped into a family style pub offering Asian fusion pub foods and a rotating selection of local draft beers, ciders and wine as well as a full service cocktail lounge.
The décor is modern and industrial, featuring the original brick floor tiling, reclaimed wood paneling, metal siding and other accents, as well as a full length bar counter which was hand crafted from reclaimed bowling alley flooring by the owner himself. Midtown also boasts an open floor plan that makes use of the natural lighting and offers a unique dining experience. An homage to the former venue, the attached cocktail lounge is known simply as 'China.'
The menu includes many American classics, but also offers versions of those dishes with an Asian spin. We offer several rice and noodle bowls, each with a unique blend of in-house pickled veggies and hand prepared chicken, beef, pork and tofu options. Midtown also offers gluten free and vegetarian or vegan options for most dishes as well.
